Description

Dr. Gaines White and the staff of Conyers Animal Hospital have been working to keep your pets healthy and happy ever since the clinic was founded in 1970. Our mission is to provide you and your pets with service of the highest quality, keeping your companions healthy and giving you peace of mind.

We believe that it is through communicating with you, the pet owner, that we can both work together to give your pet a happy and healthy home environment. Pets are an important part of all our lives, and we want nothing more than to ensure that your friends remain with you for a long, long time.

Staff Members

Dr. Joseph W. Sharp
Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Sharp founded Conyers Animal Hospital in 1970. He is a 1964 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. After serving in the Air Force and practicing in Macon for a short time, Dr. Sharp moved to Conyers and started a solo practice. He has many community interests and serves on the board of many local agencies. His practice interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery.

J. Gaines White DVM
Owner
Dr. Gaines White is a 1990 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. He joined the staff of Conyers Animal Hospital in 1991 and became partner in 1995. He is originally from Kingsport, Tn. and graduated from Wake Forest University in 1986. He resides in Conyers with his wife, Meggan, and his two children, Erin and Colin.

Dr. Todd is interested in advanced diagnostics and small animal reproduction

Jessica Kidd M.S. DVM
Staff Veterinarian
Federally registered wildlife rehabilitator with strong interest in avian and exotic medicine.

Dr. Sanders has a broad range of practice interests, especially orthopedic surgery.
