Pets can be allergic to the same pollens and grasses as humans - but they tend to suffer from skin-related issues like itchiness and inflammation. If allergies are left untreated, that itching and scratching can lead to infection that requires its own treatment. We can help your pet ditch the itch!

East Metro Animal Emergency has had a change in operating hours.

Here is a list of clinics accepting after hours and weekend emergencies.
Is your pet itchy in the winter? Cold air and low humidity can make skin dry, flaky and uncomfortable. Brush your pet regularly to stimulate the skin's natural oils. Use a humidifier to add moisture back into the air. Ask our doctors about supplements or special shampoos. If your pet is scratching non-stop, allergies might be to blame. Give us a call.

#ConyersAnimalHospital #vetmed
Sharing meals with our furry friends can have dangerous consequences. Keep these foods away from your pets:

- Turkey skin: loaded with fat and seasonings
- Dairy products: most pets are lactose intolerant
- Cooked bones: can break and splinter
- Garlic and onions: toxic to pets (so no stuffing!)

Give us a call with any concerns.
